FUNDRAISING EVENTS

Fundraising is a neccessary ingredient in PTO. We do our best to limit the number of fundraisers held each year and are continually looking for those which offer the most for their money while providing the greatest margin for profit. Admittedly, it may be a hardship for some too. Please keep in mind that your participation is totally voluntary in any of the fundraisers, and we thank you in advance for helping us reach our goals.

In the past, the PTO has provided funds for the outdoor classroom, library materials for all levels of readers, program fees, software, computer equipment, teacher training, classroom supplies, copiers/printers, playground equipment, gym equipment, musical instruments, books, signs, and gifts for our teachers. There are a few methods of securing these funds, each relying upon volunteers like yourself. These include participating in credit programs, fundraising sales, grants, and donations.

How can you help?  There are many ways to participate and help us earn money for the school.  Choose one, two or all.  Every bit counts!

Welcome to another great year at Hemby Bridge Elementary! Our names are Jenny Ray & Cindy Ladimir, and we are the volunteer coordinators for the Box Tops for Education program. This year, our goal is raise $2,500 to purchase educational items for our school.

Box Tops offer three easy ways to earn cash for our school through everyday activities such as buying groceries, shopping online, and purchasing books.

Clip - Clip Box Top coupons from hundreds of participating products and send them to school. Box Top coupons are worth 10 cents each when our school redeems them from Box Tops for Education. See reverse side for list of products.

Shop -
Shop at your favorite online stores through the Box Tops Marketplace
. Up to 8% of each qualifying purchase is automatically donated to our school. There is no additional cost to your purchase and many exclusive deals and discounts can be found!

Buy books - Purchase books online at Barnes & Noble through the Box Tops Reading Room ™. Our school will receive 6% of your new book purchases and 3% of all other online purchases.

One of the easiest ways you can help is to sign up and support our school at btfe.com. You will learn about new and easy ways to help our school earn the extra cash it needs.

Box Tops should be turned in to the classroom teacher with student & teacher names on the bag.  There will be 2 prize giveways for the most collected during the months of October and February.
